It’s time to tee off at our first annual Electoral Invitational Mini-Golf Outing at Presidential, on Saturday, May 4th! Whether you’re an ace on the course, or you’re just here for the beer and good vibes, we want YOU to join us for a day of fun in the sun, celebrating the season opening of our delightfully luxurious, top of the line, masterpiece of a mini golf course.
This event is a MUG CLUB EXCLUSIVE for players – which means ONLY Electoral College members (and a guest) may play! Only one of the team members needs to be a mug club member.
If you’re NOT an Electoral College member, you can still come join the fun as a spectator! We’ll have hot dog lunches, a real live DJ hosting a dance party in the beer garden, and lawn games out in the yard to play. Come out and enjoy some fun in the sun (it’s not going to rain, we’re declaring it!), bring a lawn chair to sit along the edges of the course and cheer on your favorite players.
WHAT’S IN STORE?
Great question, let me tell ya.
1. A super fun mini-golf tournament where Electoral College peeps hang out and compete for the title of BEST GOLFER EVER.
2. Hot dogs & beers at the turn! Just like big kid golf!
3. Spectator area mid-course for respectful heckling and well-mannered clapping.
4. DJ TIM IN THE HOUSE! We’re having a dance party in the beer garden with a real live DJ – because we can.
5. Lawn games for the non-golfers to still get a little competitive.
6. Putting contest after the tournament.
7. HALF OFF BEERS FOR MUG CLUBBERS. You read that right. Electoral College enjoys 50% off beers during the event (12-3pm).
8. A Best Dressed Contest where non-players get to vote for the team rocking their BEST golf outfit. What’s that mean? Could be the best John Daly lookalikes. Could be the most Presidential attire. Could be the most creative interpretation of Country Club Chic. You get to decide! Golfers, put your best garb on – non-golfers, you pick the winners.
EVENT DETAILS:
- 36 Teams of 2 – Registration is $50 per team, and incudes hot dog lunch + 2 Presidential beers per player.
- 1 member of each team must be an Electoral College member – the 2nd player may be a non-member if you choose
- Saturday, May 4th
- Check-In @ 11am
- Opening Ceremony @ 11:30am
- Shotgun Start @ 12pm
- Awards Ceremony @ 3pm
STABLEFORD SCORING: - Max 4 strokes per hole
- Hole In One: 5pts
- Birdie: 3pts
- Par: 1pt
- Bogey (or more): -2pts
PRIZES:
- 1st Place: $75 Gift Card (per player)
- 2nd Place: $50 Gift Card (per player)
- Random Draw: $25 Gift Card (per player)
- Best Dressed Team: $50 Gift Card (per player)
